Canada Post NHL Issue Honors Great Goalies Less than a week before the 2015-16 National Hockey League season opened, Canada Post on October 1, 2015 issued six stamps honoring some of the finest goalies to play in the NHL between 1952 and 2015. Canada Promotes Pet Care On May 2 Canada Post issued a set of five stamps on the theme, “Love Your Pets.” The stamps were issued in booklets of 10 (2 of each design) and in a souvenir sheet with one of each stamp. Jurassic World, Canada Style On April 9, long before the June 12 debut of the Jurassic World movie, Canada Post issued a set of five stamps and a souvenir sheet (shown) depicting prehistoric animals that once roamed Canada. Diverse Canada Celebrates Lunar New Year Canada Post welcomed the New Year with three different commemorative releases in January. First up, on January 6, was the seventh release in its current Lunar New Year 12-year cycle.
