PROSPECTUS - In coming before the stamp collectors of the United States we have no apology to make. A FIGHT FOR CONTROL - The fight over the Metropolitan Philatelist seems to be the most important thing here. At a special meeting of the Staten Island Society, held last evening, they sold their share to J. W. Scott for $35.00 as far as they could without the consent of the other societies. Scott now claims to own the whole paper. On the other hand the Board of Managers claim that the paper cannot be sold except by . . .
